The new release also marks the evolution of Cedega into a community supported Membership service, offering Linux consumers with the best and broadest gaming experience available today. The growing consumer base currently gaming on Linux systems requires an enhanced service offering that leverages the strengths of the global community and provides a forum for gamers. The 6.1 launch re-establishes Cedega™'s lead position in providing Linux gamers the ability to play today's newest PC games while giving them Membership within the leading global Linux gaming community. All Cedega Members will receive year-round updates to the Cedega Gaming Engine, enabling new triple-A PC games like Call of Duty® and SPORE™. The new Cedega release also marks the launch of a new Cedega Certified Series of PC Games, which provides Members with an easy to identify seal-of-approval for games running under Cedega.
