Responsibilities Include:
- Apply your extensive low-level Linux and Windows
experience to help develop TransGaming's Cedega system for running
Win32/DirectX games directly out of the box on Linux
- Architect, design and implement features and systems
- Factor and maintain legacy code
- Profile and Debug applications running on Cedega
- Provide assistance and support to other engineers and the QA/support team as needed
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- At least 4 years experience in software development
- Extensive C and C++ experience
- x86 and/or RISC assembly language experience.
- Windows programming experience.
- OpenGL and/or DirectX programming experience.
- Linux and/or other UNIX environment experience.
- Solid understanding of group-based software
development processes
- Proven ability to work on tasks independently and to
meet time lines and quality objectives
- Strong debugging and problem solving skills
Desired Skills:
- Direct3D 8/9 experience strongly preferred.
- vertex and pixel shaders experience.
- Windows driver development experience.
- Linux kernel and driver development experience.
- Knowledge of game engine design and implementation.
- Knowledge and experience of emulation and translation techniques.
This
is for a full time permanent position in either Toronto or Ottawa.
