QA Analyst (Toronto)

Responsibilities

  • The selected candidate would be responsible for assuring the quality of the GameTreeTV games as they are enabled and ready to leave Production stage of development.
  • This employee would report to the Production QA team-lead but would also interface on occasion with the Atlanta QA team as well as the Cider QA team.
  • Based on the candidates QA experience and capability, s/he may be groomed for a leadership role in the future.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • College diploma or equivalent experience, plus 2-5 years industry experience.
  • Knowledge of Linux operating system (Mac OS X knowledge a plus).
  • Background in QA (previous experience creating testplans, etc.).
  • Some knowledge of programming, even if just in school is a big plus.
  • Experience with TRCs and other game certification processes a big asset
  • Experience with test automation tools for desktop and web applications.
  • Experience with source control and bug tracking systems (eg. git, trac).
  • Strong scripting skills an asset (sh, bash, perl, python, ruby, etc).

Desired Skills

  • Gamer. You must LOVE video games!
  • Interest in hardware is a plus.
  • Enjoys stressing software systems and writing detailed instructions on how to did it.
  • Strong documentation and writing skills.
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills
